Flooding in Westfield

As many of you are aware, our Riverside Manor building and Hillview Apartments located in Westfield, PA both suffered varying levels of flood damage this past weekend. The Housing Authority’s Maintenance Staff have done a phenomenal job cleaning Riverside Manor and have gone above and beyond to assist residents on the first floor who sustained flood damage. Residents at Hillview Apartments sustained minimal damage to the bottom floors of their units but immediately began cleaning and sterilizing so much so that there is little evidence of any water ever entering them. We have witnessed a true sense of community as several residents at Hillview Apartments donated their time to assist those living in Riverside. We are extremely thankful that electric, hot water and elevators have been operational since Saturday and that residents who requested to transfer to other floors were able to do so seamlessly.
