Tenant Celebrates 90th Birthday
Dottie Mosher, of Pinnacle Towers in Wellsboro, celebrated her 90th birthday on August 1, 2014. Over 100 friends and family members attended her party and helped Dottie make this milestone one to remember.

Twenty-four residents of the Canton Townhouses came out to enjoy the Fun in the Sun Picnic hosted by the Tioga/Bradford Housing Authority on Wednesday, July 30th. During the event, tenants received important summer safety and bicycle safety information from Melissa Sentiff, the Safe Kids Coalition Coordinator.

North Central Sight Services Inc. will be offering free vision and glaucoma screenings for the residents of Page and Keystone Manors in Athens and Sayre, Pa on June 30th. Staff will be available to conduct screenings at Page Manor from 10:00am-12:00pm and at Keystone Manor from 1:00pm-3:00pm on Monday June, 30, 2014.
Starting June 1st, the Farmer's Market Nutrition Program, provided by the B/S/S/T Area Agency on Aging, Inc., will provide eligible seniors with fresh fruits and vegetables from local farmer's markets. Seniors who qualify can receive up to twenty dollars in vouchers to be used at various farmer's markets and farm stands throughout Bradford and Tioga Counties.
Representatives from the American Red Cross will be attending Fire Safety Meetings at Riverside Manor in Westfield and Forestview Manor in Elkland on Friday May 30th.
The local paramedics from Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital are offering a free program to all residents of Tioga County senior housing. In appreciation of residents in Tioga County, paramedics are bringing residents the FREE File of Life, Yellow DOT System and DOT Registry programs.
Children and parents in public housing enjoyed Easter celebrations last week. Children from Canton, Blossburg, Westfield, Elkland, Nelson and Lawrenceville - over 40 children in all - participated in local Easter parties hosted by the Housing Authority.
