Liberty Cottages Receives Walkers from First Citizens Community Bank
Liberty Cottages in Liberty, PA. recently received a donation of walkers from First Citizens Community Bank.
Beth Weiskopff, the Market Leader for the Mansfield, Walmart, and Blossburg offices, along with Mike Route, Maintenance Supervisor, arrived at Liberty Cottages with a truck-full of their donation of 8 walkers for the tenants at Liberty Cottages.
Weiskopff explained, “Annually, First Citizens Community Bank (FCCB) busses all of their employees to a central site for a day filled with fun, learning, comradery and recognition.” And community isn’t forgotten on their day of celebration. “Each year, the bank has a team contest to build something that can contribute to the welfare of their communities,” Weiskopff continued. This year, they assembled 64 four-wheeled rolling walkers with seats to donate to organizations throughout their markets.
Tioga/Bradford County Housing Authority staff including Executive Director, Sean Sember, along with Resident Services Coordinators, Diane Andreason and Andrea Smithgall, were on site to accept the generous donation.
“This is an extremely thoughtful gesture and something that will benefit many of our residents,” said Sember. “My hat is off to Beth, Mike and the entire First Citizens family for their outreach efforts.”
