Fraud Prevention Part II

This free fraud prevention series is part of the consumer protection initiative of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. Residents will watch four short videos covering the topics of foreign lottery scams, financial crimes, internet fraud, and work at home fraud. Residents will also receive useful handouts and tools for prevention fraud and have the opportunity to ask questions about potential scams affecting the elderly in our area. Let’s Get Cooking!

Veterans Day Flag Dedication

On November 11, 2014, Veteran’s Day, residents of Page Manor in Athens gathered together to dedicate a new POW/MIA Flag in honor of all veterans, past and present. Residents and staff are very thankful to the Sons of the American Legion in Athens for donating the flag.

Fight the Flu with TBHRA

TBHRA Staff has coordinated with Rite Aid Pharmacies in Sayre and Wellsboro to provide Flu Shot Clinics to residents in Tioga and Bradford County public housing, at no out-of-pocket cost.

Back to School with TBHRA!

School-aged tenants throughout public housing in Tioga and Bradford County celebrated the back to school season with new school supplies, new clothes, and for some, new backpacks courtesy of the Tioga/Bradford Housing Authority.

Tanglewood Nature Center

Tenants at both Page and Keystone Manors enjoyed a presentation from the Tanglewood Nature Center last Thursday. Local Susquehanna Valley Audubon Society member, Ingeborg Wells, also a resident at Page Manor, coordinated the event, and more than thirty residents and family members from both buildings attended.
