This free fraud prevention series is part of the consumer protection initiative of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. Residents will watch four short videos covering the topics of foreign lottery scams, financial crimes, internet fraud, and work at home fraud. Residents will also receive useful handouts and tools for prevention fraud and have the opportunity to ask questions about potential scams affecting the elderly in our area. On November 11, 2014, Veteran’s Day, residents of Page Manor in Athens gathered together to dedicate a new POW/MIA Flag in honor of all veterans, past and present. Residents and staff are very thankful to the Sons of the American Legion in Athens for donating the flag.
