Recognizing Our Volunteers!
In honor of Volunteer Appreciation Month, throughout April tenants who volunteer with the Fresh Express program have been recognized for their hard work. Each volunteer received a framed certificate of appreciation along with a gift card to a local store.
Fresh Express is a monthly food distribution that occurs at 10 Housing Authority buildings in Tioga and Bradford counties. Food is donated by the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank and delivered directly to our sites. Volunteers at each location then help to set up and distribute food to the other residents in the building.
Without our dedicated volunteers it would be extremely difficult to continue our Fresh Express food distributions. We truly appreciate their hard work and dedication!
